Women With Influence Spring Luncheon & Fashion Show

Thanks to everyone who attended the Women With Influence Spring Luncheon and Fashion Show on Friday, March 29, benefiting Feed My Lambs.

Feed My Lambs is a nonprofit grassroots organization whose purpose is to provide tuition-free Christian schools for children living in impoverished areas around the world.

We were privileged to hear from First Lady of Georgia Marty Kemp, Ann Platz Groton, and Feed My Lambs Founder Elizabeth Weatherby.

Here are some of the highlights and the pieces worn from Ginger Howard Selections:

Elizabeth Weatherby wore a gorgeous yellow eyelet jacket by Grace Chuang over slim cut white rivet trim pants by Elliott Lauren. In case you hadn’t noticed, bright bold yellow is THE signature color this spring. Her jacket is the perfect complement to any style pant, and can also be worn over a slip dress or pencil skirt. And Elizabeth has accessorized her outfit with this gorgeous multi-strand multicolor and gold link necklace by Susan Shaw. Susan Shaw is a wonderful costume jewelry designer known for fun colors, beautiful medallions and chains, all at very affordable prices.

My aqua and gold balloon sleeve cocktail dress is from the Sara Campbell spring collection. Sara Campbell is a Boston designer known for her “Jackie O with a twist” style and beautiful one-of-a-kind fabrics. Sara is a personal friend and I can tell you with confidence that her clothes never go out of style because they are classically designed and made to last. I have SC pieces in my closet that I am still wearing 10 years later that look as good and as in style as the day I bought them.

Marty Kemp wore a pretty peach crepe shift dress, also from Sara Campbell, with ruffled sleeve detail.

Our models are wearing a sample of what Ginger Howard Selections has in the shop this season.

My mom, Beth McClelland, is wearing a polished cotton shirtsleeve dress by Finley in bright fuchsia. This classic casual look can be worn day to evening and has a full-length sleeve that can be rolled to a half sleeve for a more relaxed look. Her silver tassel link necklace is by Susan Shaw. Finley is a blouse and dress line based in Texas - this line is known for simple sophistication and clean lines and is by far our most popular blouse line at Ginger Howard.

Our next model is Donna- wearing a bright, fun pink and blue shift dress by Barbara Erickson, complemented by pink bubble cluster earrings by Susan Shaw. Barbara Erickson, formerly Barbara Gerwit, has introduced a wonderful collection of knit shift dresses in bright, fun patterns that are easy to wear, comfortable and no-iron. This is the perfect dress to throw in your suitcase for your next trip.

Next we have Jamie Wyatt wearing a beautiful drop sleeve blouse by Finley over a navy knit pant with pearl trim by Villagallo. Villagallo is a design house in Spain known for unique fabrics and beautiful embellishments and trims. This clothing line has quickly become one of our customer favorites at GHS because of the beautiful fit and very unique fabrics and layered trims they use. This is couture clothing at a very affordable price. And Jamie’s beautiful black and gold quatrefoil drop earrings are by Lisi Lerch, a wonderful earring designer that uses exquisite beading and bold designs to make statement looks for women of all ages.

Our next model, Kimberly, is wearing a beautiful pink and blue pastel jacket by Patty Kim over a sleeveless jewel button blouse by Villagallo and Navy wide-leg pants with brass button trim, also by Villagallo. Wide-leg pants are back and are wonderful paired with classic jackets and boho tops. This Villagallo pant is lightweight and so comfortable and can be casual or dressy, depending on what top you pair it with.

Next we have Nancy wearing ocean colored skinny jeans by Tribal with a scarf block tie t-shirt by JoyJoy. Tribal is a Canadian design house that has perfected the “dream jean,” for a great slim fit that is so comfortable. JoyJoy makes fun, casual dresses and tops in lightweight colorful patterns that are perfect for spring and summer in Hotlanta. Nancy’s blue and silver disc earrings are by Yochi – a new earring line that specializes in fun, edgy designs in acrylic, mixed metals and lots of colors.

Our next model is Rachel wearing a patterned palazzo pant and soft aqua v-neck sleeveless top by Tyler Boe. Tyler Boe is one of our most popular lines at Ginger Howard – they make everything from pull-on dresses and tops to slim and wide-leg pants, all-weather jackets and lightweight sweaters. We dress 3 generations of women in Tyler Boe and everyone remarks on how good they feel in this line. Rachel’s rattan and gold earrings are by Susan Shaw.

And now I’d like to introduce Jamie Ayers, wearing a gorgeous saffron yellow patio dress by Tara Jarmon, a new Parisian line that has the look – but not the price – of haute couture. The soft gauzy fabric and tiered ruffles give this dress a feminine look with flair. Jamie’s turquoise beaded disc earrings are by Lisi Lerch.

Our next model is Belle, wearing a blue embroidered top by Boho Chic over  jeans by Tribal. Boho Chic style is exactly what its name suggests – a casual but chic look with a relaxed fit.

Janice, our next model is wearing a navy and pink jacquard jacket by Villagallo over navy slim leg pants with a fringe hem by Sara Campbell. This jacket would work equally well over a slim skirt or a slip dress and can be worn multiple seasons. Janice’s matte gold cuff bracelet is by Susan Shaw and her navy fringe and gold earrings are by Lisi Lerch.

My mom, Beth, is wearing a coral Sara Campbell A-line shirtdress with a fold down collar and cuffs with a plaid print.

Jamie is wearing a gingham Jude Connally swing top with matching cropped pants, which also comes in blue and white. This retro look is very popular right now!

Donna is wearing a Vilagallo black knit suit featuring a swing jacket with a jeweled button, and a cropped, slightly flared pant.

Kimberly is wearing the Caroline dress from Tyler Boe, the newest member of their jacquard family. This sleeveless dress has a front and back v-neckline, single front pleat and pockets for extra comfort.

Nancy has on a tissue cotton floral print, Vilagallo shirtdress that buttons down from the front, and can be worn with or without the belt.

Rachel is wearing a Laroque blue and white French stripe dress with a wrap waist and a soft, tea-length skirt. Perfect for a garden party!

Jamie is wearing another fabulous look from Tara Jarmon, a saffron yellow and coral full tea length skirt, and eyelet cap sleeve blouse. She is wearing Susan Shaw gold flower earrings to match the flowers in the skirt.

Belle is wearing another great look from French designer Tara Jarmon, a waisted tea-length dress with a diamond cutout and button in the back. It is made of a gorgeous French cotton, and has a structured bodice and pockets!

Janice is wearing a Sara Campbell multi-colored tweed dress with cap sleeves. This dress is very Jackie O, with classic styling! They also made an adorable top in this material, with pom pom trim.

Emily Youssef is wearing a beautiful periwinkle tea-length organza dress with a floral overlay and detachable flower at the shoulder. This is one of many cocktail dresses we have right now from Sara Campbell, that are perfect for summer weddings! She is wearing mother-of-pearl earrings from the latest jewelry line that we are carrying, Cristina Sabatini.
